Traditionally, medical insurance has not covered the cost of assistive listening devices, but more and more companies are beginning to offer hearing aid benefits. Some states even require it as part of the ACA's minimum essential coverage. If you work for a state or federal agency, chances are that you have some type of coverage.
If you have BCBS FEP you may be eligible for hearing aids at little to no cost to you. If you have another GEHB, contact us at support@ionhearing.com to go over your options.
